EPISODE 0: TEASER (Alvin Paver)

Learn the story and history of how Mayad Studios started and how it became one of the 25 Most Influential Videographers in the
World by EventDV.

EPISODE 1: INTRODUCTION (Alvin Paver)

The introductory class in the Master Class series introduces its students in the world of directing and editing wedding films. The
students shall get the opportunity to learn what is in store for them; get to know the equipment, skills and techniques that they will
be practicing, and understand what it takes to be part of the wedding industry.

EPISODE 2: EQUIPMENT: AUDIO (Jackner John Borja)

Recognize, learn, understand and master everything you need to know and more on audio equipment including the basics,
transmitters, mics and recorders.

This class specifically covers the purposes, functions, utilization, and applications of the following equipment: cable pouch, RCA, PL,
XLR, 3.5mm Jack, RØDE Link & Sennheiser G3/G4 transmitters, RØDE VideoMic Pro, RØDE VideoMic Go & the Lapel Mic and, the ZOOM
H1 Recorder.

EPISODE 3: EQUIPMENT: STABILIZERS (Jackner John Borja)

Learn how to properly utilize, manipulate and maximize the Tripod, Monopod, Glidecam and Handheld Gimbals including the DJI Ronin
and the Zhiyun.

EPISODE 4: EQUIPMENT: CAMERA (Jackner John Borja)

Become a master in operating a videographers imperative and most powerful weapon: the camera.

Learn about the factors of why the camera is the optimal tool with the Sony A7sii by looking into its physical and internal features, file
types, slow motion and picture profiles. Also, understand what, why and which lenses are being used in the industry including 24-
70mm, 70-200mm, 100mm, 50mm, 16-35mm, 28-135mm and, 100mm Sony.

EPISODE 5: WEDDING DAY PREPS (Kristopher King Caldera)

Prepare yourself for the big day by learning the essentials that must be ready on the day of the Wedding.

Understand how to prepare all your equipment including their placement and preparations, camera settings, movements, do’s &
don’ts and, important reminders. Make sure that the directing and shooting for the preparation, setup and demos of the bride and
groom are well prepared for by learning the things to consider, do’s and don’ts that varies through clients and important moments
you should not forget to shoot. Also, learn what it takes to create killer shots from bridal elegance, ring shots, capturing all the details
(shoes, wedding invitations, watches, cufflinks, jewelry, perfume and, cars), and slow motion.

This class will include a Q&A for students to better understand these essentials.

EPISODE 6: WEDDING DAY CEREMONY (Kristopher King Caldera)

Learn how to create the perfect Wedding Ceremony Setup from recognizing different kinds of ceremony per culture and understanding
the Wedding Ceremony (Church/Christian). This set up lesson will also cover the assigned Cam Operator Stations, things that happen
during the ceremony, the importance & Symbolism of the ceremony and, Do’s and Don’ts.

During the ceremony, learn what to do during the shooting and setting up the audio from placement, double-checking and importance.

EPISODE 7: WEDDING DAY VOWS (Kristopher King Caldera)

One of the most critical moments during any wedding are the exchange of vows. Understand the important factors of the interview
Set up and Demo, gears needed during this moment, how to get the story out of the couple, lighting the indoor interview, outdoor
interview and, audio setup.
This class specifically covers an introduction to why the interview is necessary, equipment placement and preparations, camera
settings, frequent and important questions for the couple, things to consider about the location, mood, double-checking and important
reminders.

EPISODE 8: WEDDING DAY RECEPTION (Kristopher King Caldera)

Capture the most memorable moments of the Wedding Reception by mastering the Setup and learning how to shoot each important
section such as the Father and Daughter Dance, the Couple’s First Dance and Games with all the wedding participants.

EPISODE 9: AERIAL SHOOTING (Kristopher King Caldera)

Since the advent of drone, aerial shots are added to the videos of Mayad Studios in showing various landscapes and perspective. In
this course, you will learn how to safely operate and maximize a drone, various creative shots and the advantages of DJI Phantom
drones.

EPISODE 10: PRE-WEDDING PLANNING (Gabriel Lorenzo Pagcaliwagan)

Learn the importance of the Client meeting including getting to know the couple, what does the couple want in their video and, what
style does the couple want for their video. This class will also cover concept building and identifying the location shoot to help
understand more about what goes on before the wedding itself.

EPISODE 11: PRE-WEDDING SHOOTING (Gabriel Lorenzo Pagcaliwagan)

Get answers on how to direct your couples as he walks you through Mayad’s styles, concepts, and preparations for a pre-wedding shoot.

EPISODE 12: STORYTELLING (Alvin Paver)

Explore the role of the editor when it comes to storytelling. Learn how to choose the right clip for the specific scene for an optimal
build up in narrating the story of your client, choosing the appropriate music to set-up the mood and various styles and techniques
utilized in Mayad Studios.

EPISODE 13: SAME DAY EDIT PROCESS (Alvin Paver)
