Chairperson Dr. Calisto Onyango, and members
of the University Senate and Management Board.
Speaking at the event, Rev. Prof. James Kombo
thanked the parents for bringing their children to
Daystar University, emphasizing that all the three
campuses offered quality education for students in
the different programmes. This was echoed by the
Director Admissions & Records, Mrs. Nkita Arao,
who went further in urging parents to encourage
their children to study at the Athi River campus
despite the perceived distance, since its location
provides a conducive learning environment.
Dr. Calisto Onyango, speaking on behalf of
DUPA, explained what the parents’ association
was, how it works with the University and the
developments it has contributed to this far,
including the construction of the DUPA ladies’
hostels.
