This manual provides instructions to pair our Bluetooth models (hereinafter, referred to as instrument) with
Windows PCs.

OS (Operation System)
For the supported OS, please check the version label on the CD case or visit our website.
As for the supported OS for Bluetooth USB adapters, please see the user’s manual supplied with
the adapters.

2. Pairing
To use Bluetooth features, you need to pair the instrument with Bluetooth device connected to your PC.
After the instrument and device are paired, you don’t need to re-pair them as far as the same instrument
and device are used.
Using the following adapters – operation has been verified - as examples, the following pages describe
pairing procedures.
According to the Bluetooth USB adapter to be used, please see appropriate pages listed below.

Turn on Bluetooth feature of instrument before starting to pair. Read
instruction manual to turn on the Bluetooth feature of instrument.

(3) Click "Next" when model name - KEWXXXX-12345678 - is displayed on the list.

(5) Click "Next" when following window appears.
(6) The instrument has been paired and displayed as shown below.

3.2. For: iBUFFALO Bluetooth Ver3.0 + EDR Class1
iBUFFALO Bluetooth Ver3.0 + EDR Class2
iBUFFALO Bluetooth Ver4.0 + EDR/LE
(1) Click Start -> All programs(P) -> Bluetooth -> My Bluetooth.

(3) When the instrument is detected, left-click on the displayed name, and then right-click to select
"Secure Pair".

Pairing has been successfully completed when the following balloon message appears or the
box at the lower left of the Bluetooth logo is checked.

(6) Click "Install" on the following window.

3.3. For ELECOM Logitec Bluetooth Ver3.0 Class2
(1) Click the Notification area on the Task bar and right-click on the Bluetooth icon to select
"Add a Device".
(2) When the name of the connected instrument is displayed, left-click on it and then click "Next".

(3) The pairing process has been completed. Click "Close" and close the window.

3.4. For Windows 10 default driver
(Using a driver other than the one specified by manufacturer)

(3) Select "Bluetooth".
(4) Then, a window for Manage Bluetooth devices will be displayed and searching for Bluetooth device
will begin. When the connected instrument is found, left click on it.

(5) A "Pair" button appears when selecting a Bluetooth device to be paired. Left click on "Pair" button.
