PATTERN: See diagram M.1 and g-1.
Fig-1 shows how to crochet the lace border on the right side of M.1.
----------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------------

Crochet back and forth from side to side. If you want the skirt 10 cm / 4’’ longer work an extra 24 ch, these
will sit between marker-1 and marker-2, i.e. there will be an extra 18 hdc compared to numbers in pattern.

Ch 107-112-117-123-128-133 loosely on crochet hook size 4 mm / G/6 with brown. Crochet rst row as
follows from the waist towards bottom edge: 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook, 1 sc in each of the next 2 ch, * skip 1
ch, 1 sc in each of the next 3 ch *, repeat from *-* a total of 5 times = 18 sc, insert MARKER-1,* skip 1 ch, 1
hdc in each of the next 3 ch *, repeat from *-* a total of 9-10-11-13-14-15 times, then crochet 1 hdc in each
of the next 0-1-2-0-1-2 ch = 27-31-35-39-43-47 hdc, insert MARKER-2, * skip 1 ch, 1 dc in each of the next 3
ch *, repeat from *-* a total of 6 times = 18 dc, insert MARKER-3, then crochet M.1 on the bottom 23 ch. Let
the markers follow the piece as you go along.
Turn and crochet next row as follows:
M.1 on sts to marker-3,
18 dc (i.e. to marker-2),
27-31-35-39-43-47 hdc (i.e. to marker-1)
and 18 hdc (i.e. to end of row).
Turn with 2 ch and now continue as follows: To marker-1 crochet 1 row of hdc and 1 row of sc alternately,
between marker-1 and marker-2 crochet rows with hdc, between marker-2 and marker-3 crochet rows with
dc, then crochet M.1 on remaining sts (no varies acc to diagram).
Continue like this until piece measures approx 90-100-112-124-136-148 cm / 35½”-39 3/8”-44”-48 ¾”-53½”-58
1/8” between marker-1 and marker-2 (i.e. section with hdc) – adjust to a full repeat of M.1, try the skirt on to
see if it ts. Cut the thread.

ASSEMBLY: Sew skirt tog at the side, edge to edge, but leave 18 sts (= 10 cm / 4’’) for opening at the top.
Along the opening towards front piece crochet 5 buttonhole loops from WS as follows: 1 sc in each of the
rst 2 sts, * 3 ch, skip 2 sts, 1 sc in each of the next 2 sts *, repeat from *-* a total of 4 times.
