 validity, reliability and ethical issues considered
and addressed; appropriate and accurate data
analysis (provide details of published scales if
undertaking a quantitative study)

5 Resources needed; Intended outcomes of

project; Ethical considerations; Limitations of
project recognised

6 References – complete, accurate, and in a

consistent format; references should include
refereed business/management journal articles

7 Appendices – Examples: interview guide to be

used in interviews/focus groups; questionnaire
to be used in quantitative research; copies of
communication with employer including
permission letter and terms of reference
agreement
8 Presentation – logical structure of proposal;
good use of English language and relevant
business terminology; appropriate use of tables,
figures and images; free of grammar, spelling
and punctuation mistakes; 2,000 words,
