Polypharmacy is condition where a doctor give to many medicine(usually four) to patients.
Which is the dosage of drug is over, the time of drug usage also is over, and the most important
one why it’s called polypharmacy because the effect of the drugs give more disadvantages than
the advantages.

2. Describe change of pharmacodynamic related to aging process.

Pharmacodynamic mean what the body do to the drug. Related to aging process, the drugs will
become more sensitive to the body, because of that the dosage that needed by the body should
be decreased.

3. Describe of change pharmacokinetic related to aging process

Pharmacokinetic mean the reaction of the body due to the drugs. Relate to the aging process.
Pharmacokinteic in old peoople like the absorption is decrease. The volume distribution of the
drug within the body also decrease. The metabolism in liver also decreas which is cause the
inactivation of the drugs become more slower. The ekscretion is also the one that significantly
changed in old people. The function of the kidney is decrease which is cause the clearance of
the drugs become more slower.
