Description The main Objective of the project was to synthesis silica nano-particles and
characterized and compatibility study on larvae of leafy plants and yeast as
application to see their non-toxic behavior which further studies for Drug
Delivery. In this study, elephant grass were washed and finely grounded and
screened through ASTM standard sieves of 2 mm, 18 mesh, 60 mesh, and 72
mesh sizes. All these particles are taken for generation of silica Nanoparticles
through Thermo decomposition, chemical extraction, biotechnological way by
Solid-state bio-treatment (SSB) and enzymatic extraction. Silica particle was
characterized for particle size distribution, structure and purity using X-RD,
Fritsch particle size Analysette analyzer, Trinocular microscope, and Atomic
absorption spectrophotometer & their application on Yeast & green Leafy
Larvae.
