Executive Summary

This internship report is the course requirement of fulfillment of the internship program as a
course requirement of EMBA program of University of Dhaka. This report briefly presents E-
Banking of Rupali Bank Limited New Market Branch. Through this report, an individual can
expect to acquire a good knowledge and understanding on the E- Banking system and their
methods of operations in Bangladesh.
In the backdrop of economic liberalization and financial sector reforms, a group of highly
successful local entrepreneurs conceived an idea of floating Rupali bank Limited. Rupali Bank
Limited (RBL). With a commitment of providing cordial service to customers of Rupali Bank
Limited has diversified its service coverage during last eight years by opening new branches at
different strategically important locations across the country offering various service products
both investment & deposit. Adequate capital, good quality of asset, smooth growth, enough
liquidity, well performance in CSR, etc. backs up its strong position in Credit rating (having a
rating of—Strong or A-class BankD) for consecutive years.

In this report, Rupali Bank Limited (RBL) New Market Branch has been presented as an example
to highlight various services provided by most commercial banks in the country and their modes of
operations in the public sector in realizing profits. A brief orientation with RBL is presented with
its organizational structure and various departments. All the banking services offered by RBL
have been presented here precisely. Greater emphasis is given in the E- Banking activities of the
bank with detail discussion. It took over a month long hard work for this report to be
comprehensive and factual. The author of this report has painstakingly collected all the necessary
information and relevant data from both primary and secondary sources. All the information
presented here are truly confidential and no one is permitted to use its information for public
usage. This report is to be used for academic purpose only. First chapter describe of the
Introduction. The second chapter Literature Review. Third chapter overview of Bank. Four
chapter E-Banking System of RBL. Fifth chapter Learning. Six chapters Analysis and Findings.
