Progress Report

To start this with, it is important to understand the patterns of the waveforms and how they are
changing over time when we apply different parameters. We downloaded and installed programs
that can help us and will be used throughout the making of this project. Some of these are:
1. Matlab R2017

MATLAB (matrix laboratory) is a multi-paradigm numerical computing environment. A

proprietary programming language developed by MathWorks, MATLAB allows matrix
manipulations, plotting of functions and data, implementation of algorithms, creation of user
interfaces, and interfacing with programs written in other languages, including C, C++, C#,
Java, Fortran and Python.

Although MATLAB is intended primarily for numerical computing, an optional toolbox uses
the MuPAD symbolic engine, allowing access to symbolic computing abilities. An additional
package, Simulink, adds graphical multi-domain simulation and model-based design for
dynamic and embedded systems.

2. Arduino IDE

The Arduino Integrated Development Environment - or Arduino Software (IDE) - contains a

text editor for writing code, a message area, a text console, a toolbar with buttons for
common functions and a series of menus. It connects to the Arduino and Genuino hardware
to upload programs and communicate with them.

3. Audacity

Audacity is a free, easy-to-use, multi-track audio editor and recorder for Windows, Mac OS
X, GNU/Linux and other operating systems. The interface is translated into many languages.
