Introduction

Weed: A herbaceous plant that is not valued where it is

not growing and is usually a vigorous growth especially one
that tends to overgrow or choke out more desirable plants.
Applied to shrub or tree on account of its abundance in a
district. An unprofitable troublesome or noxious growth.
Goose grass (Digitaria sanguinalis)
Barsanga (Cyperous rotondus )
Garden spurge
A weed is a plant considered undesirable in a particular
situation” A plant in a wrong place”.

OBJECTIVE
To know if who is much easier to grow, the uncultivated
area or the cultivated area.
To compare the growth of the weeds in cultivated and
uncultivated area.

PROCEDURE/METHODOLOGY

 Selection of weeds in the cultivated area and

uncultivated area.
 Gathering data in the weeds.
RESULT OF THE PROJECT

Based on my observation those weeds which grow in a

cultivated area are much easier to grow, taller and healthier than the
weeds in the uncultivated area, because in a cultivated area the
absorption of nutrients is more faster, because the soil on it is not
compact which one of the reason why the roots can penetrate freely
and also the moisture on it and the accurance of insect will prevent.
While in the uncultivated area there a chance of poor growth
because the soil is compact which is the roots will not move freely
and fast.

Conclusion

I therefore conclude that the weeds in the cultivated area

grows faster because the roots can penetrate well and soil is not
compact while the uncultivated area the soil is compact and roots
cannot penetrate well.
