● How do games affect your behaviour? Taught me swear words.

● Do violent video games cause you to become more violent in real life? No, if anything
it made me more socially awkward.

● Do violent video games cause you to approach situations differently? Nope, games
are just games.

● Do you think games becoming more immersive and realistic heightens problems?
Yes. When they become more graphically realistic, the younger audience may not be
able to tell the difference between real life and video games. This in itself could
cause the violence to slip out more naturally without bad intentions.

● Does the immersive factor of VR start to blur out differentiation between reality and
fiction? Yes and I believe it is for the same reason as the question before.

● Does the way a game represents minorities affect how you view them? (race,
ethnicity and/or gender) I don't think that games affect any of these factors. I believe
this is mainly depends on your age. As a mature teenage I can see how a character
his designed to fit the media however for younger kids these representations may be
believed and carried through to real life.

● Do you find the way masculinity is represented in games moulds your attitudes in real
life? Yes. I do tend to see the perfect physique as those seen in some video games.
As well as this the stereotypical attitude of a male in video games is something I see
as normal.

● Do video games change your opinions on current issues (for example, war in foreign
countries)? Not really. I believe a lot of media but video games aren't real so don't
give the same effect.

● Do video games change your opinions on popular culture? Only if they make it look
cool. But most of the time no.

● Do you feel more empowered whilst playing video games? Yes, you control how the
game runs and if you die then the mission/game wouldn’t be possible.
● How does this affect how you feel about yourself when you’re not playing and do you
think you could apply the same satisfaction to real life tasks? It makes me feel less
significant. Unless I do what I love with a lot of work the same satisfaction could
come to me.

● Do micro-transactions for loot boxes promote gambling for minors and pose possible
addictions? If a minor has access to money to spend on the loot crates then its
highly. As well as this, if a game makes the loot boxes pay to win then this will is
some occasions give the same feeling as gambling, which is dangerous.

● Do certain video games change your opinion towards certain institutions (for
example, the police, the armed forces etc.)? No. I think of in game institutions as a
completely different entity compared to real life institutions. This means that if
anything happens in a games then that won't mean anything to my actual life.
Call of Duty

In all COD games women have never been seen as the main playable character. Do you
believe this is ok and/or do you believe this should be changed in the future?

Is it right for COD to make games based of WW2?

Call of Duty is a multi game franchise in the FPS form where you are a male protagonist in
the middle of battles and/or wars. It is evolved into a massive casual and social game

Norwegian mass killer Anders Breivik claiming he had trained himself to kill his 77 victims
through playing the game, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 in the mission named “No
Russian” where you walk around the Zakhaev International Airport.

Walking dead (TellTale)
Decision Making Game

The walking dead is based on a graphic novel by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore and Charlie
Adlard. In the first season it has five episodes with one DLC episode. This game is based on
a future where a zombie apocalypse has hit. The characters in the game are just trying to
find a way to survive and you decide how that happens.
For violence the choice to kill someone can be taken very badly. This option does come up
in the game.
