Job Description / Responsibility

Position Summary:

Under direction of Manager, works with and supervises skilled Mechanical trades and other personnel in a manner that will
provide for efficient maintenance of school buildings and equipment.

Responsibilities / Duties may include but are not limited to :

Procures services, supplies and materials.

Plans and estimates project and program costs.

Inspects Mechanical Equipment for needed repairs and maintenance; establishes a schedule of

Preventative maintenance and recommends priority of repair projects.

Works with, trains, assigns and supervises skilled Mechanical trades and other personnel.

Provides input to management for employee evaluations.

Assists management in interviews of prospective employees and makes recommendations

for changes in job assignments.

Monitors and evaluates maintenance and mechanical programs and schedules.

Evaluates and assesses facilities and work performed.

Facilitates repairs and projects utilizing in house and contracted resources.

Stay current with best practices, materials and supplies as they relate to mechanical systems and other areas of
responsibility.

Supervising the daily office operations, in addition to preparing and implementing the work plan and an annual mechanism
for monitoring and supervising the work of port operator within the limits his jurisdiction.

Supervise the activation of the port's Emergency Plan within limits of his jurisdiction.

Supervise the process of handling, transporting and storing dangerous/ hazardous goods.

Inspects equipment, tools, building/stores and working conditions to determine fire risk and to ensure safety of port
employees and users.

Monitoring of the facilities environmental conditions to indentify and control risks to human health.

Check and inspect fire prevention equipment and systems that are newly installed and ensure compliance with the relevant

Gathers evidence and prepares reports on violations, complaints and occupation accidents.

Visits all areas of the cargo operations site, platforms and scaffolds; enters confined spaces or uses other means to observe
all potentially dangerous working conditions.

Educational Requirements
Diploma / Degree Holder in Marine or Mechanical or Related subject.

Having Trade Courses, Certificates or Training in Mechanical

Experience Requirements
At least 3 year(s)

Job Requirements
Age At most 40 year(s)

At least 3 year experience in Mechanical/ Pipe Fitter Filed

GCC Experience preferred

Job Location
Saudi Arabia

Salary Range
Basic Salary QR 1,500 to QR 3,000 + O.T.
