Dear Anja,

I bring greetings to you from Uganda in Christ Jesus. I hope your family is fine and doing well.
Once again, this is Samuel Wagema. I know you must be very busy at an hour and season like this,
but I kindly request you to spare some two minutes as we journey together through these few lines
hereunder.

Dear Anja, let me briefly share my 20 years vision. I believe this is the right time for me to share
with you the vision.

As you might be already aware, Uganda has been and is still struggling with finding sustainable
solutions to the unemployment rate among the youth. In every year a total of 400,000 youth are
released into the job market after graduating to a market that has only 90,000 jobs. This implies
that the rest of the youth who have graduated have no jobs because the job market is small. This
has made the youth to walk the streets looking for jobs that have been taken or are still occupied
by people. With this situation at hand, our youth has been lured and shipped to the Arab worlds in
hope of getting employment and majority of them have ended up getting Islamized and the
unfortunate ones losing their lives. This effects Christians, Moslems and Gay alike! With this
situation at hand, the Holy Spirit implanted inside my heart to deploy a Christian Based
Technological Institute in Uganda. This Institute has three major strategic areas on interventions
to address:

1). Produce quality and highly skilled human capital in Information Communications Technology
& Electronics value chain.

2). Change the conventional model of education that persistently churns out jobseekers to problem-
solving engagement and innovators that benefit society.
3). Harnessing and tapping into opportunities in the Information Communications Technology
resource value chain development.

To achieve the above goal, I need Human Capital like you among others. As the African proverb
is “One is good, Two are better and if many…”

The purpose of writing you this email is twofold; to introduce the idea which is about to be rolled
in and to kindly and humbly request you to be a pattern towards this noble cause. I know, you’re
busy, but you may give advice, point me to some benefactors or any other way; that’s welcome.

God bless you and thanks taking time to read through this preamble.
