When comparing my servings to the recommended I was at the most you could have or I was a little over. Your body
needs the right amount depending on your age, weight, height, and gender. It’s important to have the right amount so that
you will remain healthy, and not have too much or too little of something. For every action that requires energy, many
chemical reactions take place to provide chemical energy to the systems of the body. Enzymes are important for creating
all types of biological reactions: those that require energy as well as those that release energy. Protein is transported, they
rely on the correct folding sequence to form three-dimensional structures capable of performing their intended functions.
Protein homeostasis results from the coordinated action of the quality control systems and the systems that govern each of
the different processes that proteins undergo inside cells, including synthesis, assembly or disassembly, trafficking, and
translocation to different intracellular compartments. In conclusion the food journal is a great tool to help students eat
healthier. The student starts to take into consideration how much they are actually eating and compare that amount to the
recommended.
