One minute MANAGER-

one minute manager has three parts-

1 minute goal= Goals should be lucid and should be concise to the extent that it
can be read in a minute
1 minute praise= Managers should be able to identify the good work done by their
employees in a minuite and should praise them.
1 minute reprimand= Two parts- First you should convey the wrong that has been done
, and second the employee must know how capable they are and how they can rectifty
the mistake done.

Why is it a fad?
Fads grab attention by their apparent novelty.
But their freshness is often superficial, and, as such, fads dont unduly challenge
basic managerial values.
Many simply repackage or extend ideas or approaches that managers have long
embraced.

360degree feedback--
This is a feedback mechanism in which everyone appraises everyone in the company
secretly.
It conveys an employee how his actions perceived by others.
Why is this a fad..
Just as an organization implements any planned change, the implementation of 360
degree feedback should follow effective change management guidelines and not just
from the recommendation of an HR who read it in a book.
For a 360 feedback process to work, it must be connected with the overall strategic
aims of your organization.
Since 360 degree feedback processes are currently usually anonymous, people
receiving feedback have no recourse if they want to further understand the feedback
