STEPS FOR:AUSTRALIA VISIT VISA
 STEP 1: ATTEND A COUNSELING SESSION

• Attend a counseling session (Telephonic/In-person) and

search out your choices.
 STEP 2:TOURIST STREAM
• For people to visit Australia for a holiday, sightseeing, social or
recreational reasons, to visit relatives, friends or for other
short-term non-work purposes.

• There are a number of visas available for people to

visit Australia as a tourist.
 STEP 3:Electronic Travel Authority
(Subclass 601)
• This is for business people who need to Visit Australia for a
short business visit including conference and meetings.

• The ETA is an electronically stored authority for travel to

Australia. You must be outside Australia when you apply and
when the ETA is granted.

• For business people travelling to Australia for a short business

visit. This includes making a general business or employment
enquiry, negotiations or participating in a conference
 STEP 4:BUSINESS VISA

• Visa Bureau is not affiliated with the Australian Government

but is an independent UK company. Australian visas are
available from the Australian Government at a lower cost or
for free when you apply directly.

 STEP 5: SPONSORED FAMILY STREAM

 This is for people travelling to Australia to visit their family.

You must have a sponsor who might be asked to provide a
bond.

 You must be outside Australia when you lodge your

application for an eVisitor. You do not need to visit an
immigration office and you will not receive a stamp or label in
your passport. However, you will be given a confirmation for
your records.
 STEP 6: VISITOR VISA (subclass 600)
• Visa application requirements differ from country to country.
If you are outside Australia, your nearest immigration office
outside Australia will tell you exactly how to lodge your
application and what documents to provide.
• You need to provide documents to support your application
for this visa. We can make a decision using the information
you provide when you lodge your application.
• Provide certified copies of original documents. Do not include
original documents unless we specifically ask for them.
 STEP 7: DOCUMENTS TO SHOW YOU ARE A
VISITOR

• Evidence of sufficient funds, such as personal bank

statements, pay slips, audited accounts, taxation records or
credit card limit.

• If you are visiting relatives or friends, a letter of invitation from

your relative or friend in Australia. If your relative or friend is
paying for your visit, evidence that they have the necessary
funds.

• If you are visiting under the Tourist stream: Your itinerary for
your stay in Australia.
