 SALAY HOSTS ECA SEMINAR

Bible Believers Assembly of Salay hosted the “Embracing the Children of Abraham” seminar last July 19-21.
This was conducted by the North Hope Team led by Pastor Walter Joaquin of New Hope Church and Pastor
Demi Mier of BBCBC. Other members of the team came from different Churches in the North who have the
passion to do M ministry.
The activity was requested by Pastor Graciano of BBAS when he felt the need to learn more about the M min-
istry because of the growing presence of M’s in Salay. North Hope whose mission is to inform and mobilize
Churches in the North to reach out to the M’s responded with eagerness to the request. The first thing the
team did when they arrived is to scout the area and make contact with M vendors.
ECA seminar ensued the following day. It was opened to other Church pastors and leaders in Dipaculao in
which 18 attended. Many of them conveyed their gratitude for the held event and, with the realization for the
need to be informed and get equipped to do M ministry, requested that the team come back. In the future, they
hope to have a larger gathering for church members to join in and not just leaders and pastors. In response,
Northope expressed their willingness to conduct another seminar in Salay.
After the seminar, some of the team went to the nearest mosque and got to know some of the M’s who lived
there. Others did prayer walk. Evaluation and planning of the team followed in the evening.
Before heading back home, Pastor Graciano directed the team to Baler for some rest and recreation.
