The City Planning and Development Office together with the Department of the Interior and
Local Government is currently conducting the “Community Based Monitoring System” survey which aims
to provide a comprehensive data for planning, program formulation, policy impact and poverty
monitoring in the city.

The end product of the CBMS is a Geographic Information System (GIS) Database what will give
an in-depth analysis on what is the current status of the constituents in the city. Identified as one of the
offices that will greatly utilize the data, we would like to invite ONE (1) or TWO (2) TECHNICAL STAFF
from your office on a 2-day Basic GIS training this January 10, 2018 1:00PM – 5:00PM to January 11,
2018 9:00AM- 12:00NN ABC Hall, 3rd floor, City Hall Building, J.V. Ayala Ave., Brgy. Apokon, Tagum City.

Kindly bring a smartphone (android OS) and laptop for the said event.
