e Hymn of Praise – #1 “Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee”
Com Words of Confession and Assurance: Knowing of Paul’s conviction that we
confess with our mouth and with our heart we believe and are justified,
I offer my confession of sin to the Lord. For impure thoughts, hurtful
words, negative attitudes, unholy actions, for these and more, forgive me,
Lord God. May I be saved by the Lord Jesus Christ, who is faithful and
just and will forgive me my sins and purify me from all unrighteousness.
To God be the glory, and may His peace fall upon me. In Christ’s name,
I pray. Amen. (Romans 10:10, 1 John 1:9)
