Exercise 7: Assigning resources to Activities

Assign the resources defined in the previous exercise as per your requirement.

Exercise 8: Defining the responsibilities

All activities should have a person assigned to it.

For example: Activity - Brick Masonry
Responsibility – Jr. Engineer

Exercise 9: Level Resources taking into consideration resources’ max units/time,

availability of resources, Quantum of work required by the Activity, etc.

Exercise 10: Save a Baseline Plan.

After creating a master schedule (complete & confirming in all aspects of Project
Planning) you need to save a copy of the master schedule as a baseline.

Exercise 11: Assign the Master plan Baseline as the Primary Baseline to your
Current Schedule.

Exercise 12: Prepare 2 nos. one line filter and two lines filter for the project.
