INTERN For Energy Analyst
WRI Indonesia is national entity (Yayasan) associated with the World Resources Institute (WRI), a global environmental research organization that turns big ideas into
action at the nexus of environment, economic opportunity, and human well-being. WRI work with various stakeholders in the natural resources sector to support policy
and management that are both profitable and sustainable. WRI work with leaders in more than 50 countries for more than 30 years, with offices in Brazil, China,
Europe, India, Indonesia, Mexico, and the United States.
Launched in early 2014, WRI Indonesia builds on WRI’s 10-year history in the country, and strengthens our impact on the ground. In the short-to-medium term, WRI
Indonesia aims to expand its presence and portfolio to include projects in the climate, energy, as well as city and transportation programs.
In 2015, WRI was voted as the world’s #1 Environmental Policy Think-tank and is consistently recommended by staff as one of the "most desired organizations to
work for." In 2014, WRI was ranked one of the Top Workplaces by the Washington Post.
Overview
WRI Indonesia is seeking an intern for energy analyst position with demonstrated professional and research experience in issues on electrification, socio-economic
and environmental data management, and web-map development for energy programs. The position is based at WRI Indonesia’s Jakarta office. The intern will work
with WRI Indonesia’s team on the development of signature initiatives in energy portfolios.
WRI is committed to ensuring gender equity across our program portfolios. As such, the Intern for Energy Analystis expected to incorporate attention to gender where
appropriate.

Responsibilities
The selected intern will assist WRI Indonesia’s energy team to:
• Assist the concept development of cross-cutting key energy initiatives at WRI Indonesia
• Collect spatial and non-spatial data on energy, environment and economic indicators
• Plan focus group discussion and other energy-related events
• Join meetings and present work result whenever needed.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with interest and/or specialization in energy and economic sectors from reputable universit
General Qualifications:
Have the ability to write and speak very good Indonesian and English
Candidates must have experience in carrying out research at universities or beyond, and have solid understanding on research methodologies
Obtaining/ obtained an undergraduate /postgraduate degree in the field of: energy / economics / natural resource management / energy environment /
geography / engineering / climate

WRI Indonesia will provide the Intern a proper stipend to support intern during assignment period.
