2 definition of attitude

According to oxford dictionary attitude define as a settle way of thinking or

feeling about something. Base d on Jung’s definition in Psycological Types he

define attitudes as a readiness of the –psyche to act or react in a certain way.

Attidude is important to see how someone act toward the other

The attitude of a person is determined by psychological factors like ideas, values,

beliefs, perception, etc. All these factors have a significant role in determining a

person's attitude. Values are ideals, guiding principles in one’s life, or covering

goals that people preserve to obtain (Maio & Olson, 1998). Beliefs are cognitions

about the world—subjective probabilities that an object has a particular attribute or

that an action will lead to a particular outcome (Fishbein & Ajzen, 1975). Beliefs

can be patently and clearly false.

3. Javanese rules Arittude

As we knoew that Javanse people are concern about how their behaviour

while they act toward eldery people. They have special requirement while they act

toward the other people, they called the rules as Tata Krama. Tata Krama is some

rules that organize in society an hereditary by the ancestors. Tata Krama are

includes the rules about language, behaviour,, and the etics when you have

communication with others.

A. Language Tata Krama

Language tata krama also known as Unggah-Ungguh Bahasa. Unggah-

ungguh Bahasa means that there is some rules while you speak to the others

based on someone’s potition that you want to talk with and it shows the

degree of politeness. There are 3 different kinds of Unggah-Ungguh bahasa

according to Javanese language

a. Krama Inggil

Javanesse Krama Inggil are the polite and formal style. Krama inggil

speak by someone who has lower statue to someoe that has higher statue

or with the same statue in formal conext. Krama Inggil are show the

highest politeness degree.

b. Krama alus

Javanese Krama Alus is combination between Javanese Krama nad

Javanese Ngko but Krama took dominant part in here. Usually someone

who doesn’t know each aother would use this language while they have

conversation. In Keraton Yogyakarta this language are use to talk with

the younger people but have higher statue but in semi formalcontext.
c. Krama Ngoko

Krama ngoko are unpolite and informal style. This language usually

used between friends or close relatives. Krama Ngoko also using by

someone who have higer statues addresing to the lower statures or using

by eldery people to the younger one.
