Purpose
Use this procedure to allow changes to WBS Element planning by unlocking the WBS element.

Trigger
Perform this procedure when you wish to unlock WBS Element planning.

Prerequisites
 WBS Element has a Planning Element indicator and a user status of PMRL.
 WBS Element planning is locked and has a System Status of PLLK..

Menu Path
Use the following menu path(s) to begin this transaction:
 Select Logistics Project System Project Special Maintenance Functions
Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) CJ02 - Change to go to the Change Project:
Initial Screen.

Procedure

1. Start the transaction using the menu path or transaction code CJ02.

8. As required, complete/review the following fields:

Field Name R/D/O Description

Project def. R Enter Project definition number or Press F4 to select from the
list.
Example: A.08888

9. Click WBS element overview icon.

Change Project: WBS Element Overview

10. Click scroll to the right to check the status of the WBS element(s) you wish to unlock. The
WBS should have a Planning Element indicator and have a user status of PMRL with the
system status of REL PLLK.

11. Click to the left of the WBS Element(s) that you would like to unlock planning for.

12. Select Edit Status Unlock Planning.

The system displays the message “Status was set”.

13. Click to save.

Change Project: Initial Screen

The system displays the message, "Project X.XXXXX is being changed".

14. Click until you reach the SAP Easy Access screen.

15. You have completed this transaction.

Result
You have unlocked planning for a WBS Element.
