Surface facilities will be including X-mas tree, pressure sensors to measure wellhead pressures at every

point of time in production, flow manifold to control flow. This will be placed according to the
conventional processes.

Separators will be placed to remove produced water from flow stream and filters are reduced to remove
coal fines which are produced with flowing water stream to keep all components of surface facility
functioning properly. After separating water, gas will be pumped to gas gathering station. A single gas
gathering station will be placed to reduce maintenance costs. Then, gas will be pumped to centralized
compressor to increase the pressure up to sales specifications(30 barg).

Safety issues include water table contamination, fire control, noise pollution, air quality, danger to
wildlife etc.

These could be prevented by proper site selection, proper water disposal/treatment scheme, minimizing
footprint of operational facilities, use of sound reduction technology etc.

Mitigation plan includes –

1. Proper description of well sites and surface facilities and submission of those addresses in
nearest administration office so that in case of emergency, proper services can be provided by
administration
2. List of chemicals used on site and waste generated
3. Preventive maintenance programs of failure points
4. Training programs
