Community Service Project 

 
​ Project Details: 
1. The agency you work for must be NON-PROFIT (exceptions made for ​some​ nursing homes and 
hospitals). 
2. You may ​not​ skip school to do this project. If you do you will receive a ​zero​ for the project.  
3. This project must be done during the semester it is presented. Anything done before the semester 
begins does not count..  
4. MAKE SURE YOUR TEACHER APPROVES YOUR CHOICE IF IT IS NOT ON OUR CLASS LIST​. 
 
Grading:  
_____/75 points:  
Proof of Volunteer Hours:volunteer for 3 hours at an approved location and bring in the attached 
written verification form from the person in charge. ​WORKING FOR A RELATIVE OR A FRIEND 
DOES NOT COUNT​! If you present your project in December or May and you did not work for an 
approved organization, then you will receive a zero for the entire project.
