monitoringdevicecompliantwith MSCspecification MSC.128(75)and,withthe additionof
a DigitalInterfaceUnit (WAS DIU)also complieswith IEC 62616.The systemprovidesa

backupfacilityfor the Officerof the Watch(OOW)by automatically
alertingthe Masteror
