HUBET: Welcome to the OsKars! We shall be your hosts for today. My name is Hubet.
DENISE: and I am Denise. Hubet, doesn’t everyone look absolutely amazing?
HUBET: Yes. The men all look very distinguished and the ladies all look so glamorous, including you, partner!
DENISE: Thank you very much. You don’t look bad yourself! I do agree with you, partner, everybody really came
looking their absolute best.
HUBET: To formally start our program, our 2015 hired and promoted supervisors will be showcasing their talents in
this opening number.

4:10pm DENISE: Wow, great dance number by own newly hired and promoted supervisors. May talent palang tinatago mga
supervisors natin. Later, we shall see our newly hired and promoted managers – that includes you, partner!
HUBET: Yes, you should definitely watch out for that! Pinagpractisan naming lahat yun. Pero partner bakit ba
nagging OsKars an gating theme this year? Bakit nagging “K” yung “C”?
DENISE: Actually, the original theme was the Original Oscars but was later changed to OsKars with a “K” since we
could all better relate to local movies.
HUBET: Oo nga naman. Mas Masaya nga ang Pinoy movies.
4:15pm HUBET: So Denise, let’s discuss the mechanics of our competition.
DENISE: Each group chose a movie among all the movie entries in the Metro Manila Film Festival or MMFF
regardless of the year. Here are the chosen movies of our groups:

HUBET: All the teams have been very busy shooting their 5-10 minute film which we will all be watching in a while.
And since this is the OsKars, we shall be awarding a Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Actor, Best
Actress and of course the Best Film. What shall the winners get, Denise?
DENISE: The Best Supporting Actor and Actress shall be getting Php800 worth of F&B at ERH. The best Actor and

 Actress shall be getting Php1000 worth of F&B at ERH. For the Best Film Category – the 3rd Runner-Up shall win
Php1,000, 2nd Runner-up shall win Php2,000, the 1st Runner-up shall win Php3,000 and the Best Film shall get
Php5,000 and of course bragging rights.
HUBET: Our judges shall rate the films from 1 to 4 with 4 being the higest. These ratings shall be based on the
following criteria:
DENISE: Arte Pa More, which includes Acting and Delivery of Lines – 50%, CinematograPia Wurtzbach or
Cinematography – 40% and Pangkahalatang Ka-Echosan or Over-All Impact – 10%
HUBET: Our panel of judges will surely have a difficult time kasi lahat ng teams talagang pinaghandaan, pinaganda
and pinaghirapan ang mga movies nila. Buti na lang at hindi ako magjjudge.
DENISE: Ako din, HUBET. I don’t envy them right now dahil for sure mahihirapan din ako magjudge. So let us now
introduce our panel of judges.
