Brief Introduction of Root Group of Companies

Root Group of companies was established in the year 1998 and started it’s commercial operation
in mid 1999. Within the short period of time, it has built confidence to the customers of
renowned brands worldwide. Root Group is a premium denim producer and well known name in
the denim industry. It’s a vertical unit, which is capable of making denim fabric to garments as
its final output. The yarn is being made at our own spinning mill, and denim fabric and garments
under Root Apparels Ltd-all are under the same roof & same big name of Root Group of
Companies. The entire sister concerns of Root Group are well equipped with most modern
laboratories, machineries, equipment and facilities. Total numbers of corporate employees and
workers are 4500. The group runs under the proven leadership of Mr. Mohammed Razzakul
Hossen Tutul and comprises management body and employees with long experience and proven
track record in this sector.

 Our Production Capacity

RankaShoel Composite Textile Mills Ltd. Fully composite unit including yarn, denim fabrics,
garments as well as yarn dyeing which capacity is 20 Ton/Day.

RankaDenim Textile Mills Ltd: Per month 1 million yards of denim fabric which covers range of
products from 6.5oz to 14.5oz of denim fabrics of different color, quality, shade and variation.

Our Garments Unit: Harp Fashion Wears Ltd. Rahnuma Fashion Wears Ltd and Root Apparels
Ltd: Per month 700,000 pieces of finished garments top and bottom together.

Own Power Generation

We commissioned our Captive Power Plant with a capacity of 3.5 MW. It uses Gas. The Plant
provides uninterrupted power supply to our mill thereby reducing the high cost of power. Gas
helps to control the pollution. We are dedicated towards cleaner & pollution free environment

State of the Art Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP)

We are committed to maintaining a clean environment and have thus set up a State of the Art
ETP and water treatment plant (WTP)
