Error Codes
"Clear Paper Jam"
Cause: Foreign body in carriage section.
Solution: Open flat bed assembly and remove foreign body.
Cause: Loose carriage belt.
Solution: Adjust tension or replace carriage belt.
Cause: Position of carriage cannot be detected (due to smears on the carriage encoder film).
Solution: Switch off power, remove the carriage encoder film, wipe the carriage encoder film with a cloth soaked with alcohol, and replace the carriage
encoder film.

"Check Printer"
Cause: The printer's internal unit has malfunctioned.
Solution: (1) Remove the jammed paper. (Make sure the paper end sensor is OFF.)
(2) Press the Resume key.
(3) Reinstall the Print Head.
(4) Turn the power off and on.
(5) Set the Service Data #1 SSSW SW01 bit "0" to "1" and check the service code. Refer to the countermeasures for that error.

##343 Ink Detection Waste Ink Capacity Full

Solution: (1) Select [7] PRINTER TEST in the Service Mode, then [5] INK ABS CAPA.
(2) Press “0”.
(3) Verify no images are in memory.
(4) Replace the Waste Ink Absorber.

##356 ASF Cam Sensor

Cause: Sudden movement (i.e. from shipping) may cause the plastic guide to move away from the Chassis, causing the gears to not rotate properly.
Solution: Refer to the TKB section on www.asfonline.com for the solution.

##359 Paper Feed Position

Cause: Sudden movement or impact (i.e. from shipping) may cause the Lift Cam Shaft Assembly to shift. When this occurs, the Cam Shaft slides
inside the bracket to the right, which prevents the Cam Shaft from rotating properly.
Solution: Refer to the TKB section on www.asfonline.com for the solution.
