From the Gym-

We have a lot going on this month in PE! First I’d like to mention the PE apparel sale that’s
happening right now. These are just for fun, students are not required to purchase anything.  I
want everyone to be aware that some of the clothing options tend to run small. The youth size
hoodies are a little small, I recommend ordering a size larger. The “super-soft bella canvas”
shirts run short and slim and I recommend going a size up. The other options all seem to be true
to size.

Coming up soon we will begin our Jump Rope For Heart fundraiser. This is an event that the
students have really put their hearts into the past couple of years. I recommend checking out the
online fundraising options. This will make the process easier for you and I. The traditional
envelopes will of course be sent home for person to person fundraising. Please call, email, or
Facebook message me on the PE page if you have any questions.

Running club forms will be coming home soon for 3rd, 4th and 5th Graders. Anyone can join
running club and the focus is on having fun and improving our personal best. We typically meet
Tuesday’s and Thursday’s after school for six weeks to train for the Eagle 5k on March 24th.

All of the above information as well as any associated forms will also be available on the
Gym’s Facebook page at https://m.facebook.com/HPSParkPE/ Thanks For all you do to
support our Park Kids!!
