The GOVERNMENT OF KENYA has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Eastern Electricity Highway Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Aerial Survey and Mapping Services for purposes of design ofthe transmission projects specified herein. 2. The KENYA ELECTRICITY TRANSMISSION COMPANY LTD (KETRACO) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Aerial Survey and Mapping Services for the purpose of design of thetransmission specified projects under the following packages: Package 1: Narok - Bomet 88 km 132kV transmission lines, Package 2: Kabarnet - Nyahururu 111km 132kV transmission lines; Package 3:Rumuruti - Maralal 140km 132kV transmission lines and Package 4: Malindi – Kilifi 220kV 60 km transmission lines. 3. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers – June 11 2015 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Biddersas defined in the Procurement Regulations. 4. The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of KShs.1, 000.00 The method of payment will be in cash or through a bankers cheque at Ketraco finance office. The document will be sent by issuing hard copies or downloading from Ketraco website www.ketraco.co.ke 6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 18th October 2017 before 10.00 am local time. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected.
