NHD Process Paper

How did we choose our topic? Our topic is The Marshall Plan and the reason on why we
picked this topic is because the way George Marshall wanted to help the European country
after the world war 2. Another reason on why we picked this topic is because my partner
wanted something to do with the European history and I wanted something to do with the U.S.
history so we both did some research on both topic samples and the The Marshall Plan had
the U.S. history and the European history and that was another reason on why we picked this
topic.

How did we conduct our research? We conducted our research by using trustable websites
such as Badgerlink, and Great events from history and those are some of our trustable
websites for our secondary and primary sources but while we were doing research we realized
that our topic was kinda hard for finding primary sources for our topic.

Why did we choose our category and how did we create our project? Our category we choose
is the website and the reason why we choose the website is because we both agreed on it and
how we created it was by using weebly.

How does our topic relate to the theme?​ Well our topic is that the Marshall Plan and
how does it relate to the theme well the compromise is when he creates the recovery plan to
help Europe’s problems and asking the United States for $13 billion dollars to go towards
the]recovery plan and the conflict would be when he wanted to help Europe after what WW2
did to the European economy.

In this website I learned was that George Marshall retired from the army but then President Harry Truman asked
Marshall if he wanted to be a secretary of state. So then President Harry assigned him on a mission to go to Europe
and when Marshall got to Europe he was shocked of what happened during war world 2. After when he got back
from the United States and agreed about helping Europe with the food shortage and rebuilding the farms, and trying
to provide shelter too for them.
