“Swords that I take, I hold, I brought, I let in”

By: Sis. Mary Rose Espanola

“The entrance of the word giveth light, it giveth understanding

to the simple.”
-Psalms 119:130 (KJV)
We are in this place to decide which way to follow has always
some deciding questions. Living in this CHAOTIC WORLD or
living through his WORDS? Living in worldliness by losing
holiness the whole time? Living in peace by holding on to God
one step at a time? Am I to be blamed of my iniquities,
ignorance and carelessness?

“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than
any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of
soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner
of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
- Hebrews 4:12 (KJV)

God as our source of Wisdom

God has given us a rationale, a volition. We have the
ability to think, criticize, decide, choose whom at what we to
be. He even taught us to number our days while we are still
alive for death is come upon us every bit of a clock. Life can
create reasons to humanity, reasons that can hold between life
and death. Life turned me to create this piece that signifies I’m
alive so when I die, I left histories of time where I was still alive.
We have challenges in life, we face different seasons, situations
and emotions but encouragements and motivations are our
swords to take, to hold and to let it define us. Life has many
battles we aren’t fight for it but who will fight it for us? Are we
strong and determined enough to take this challenge? Can we
stand in the days of the battle? Of course, we can’t but God
can! God is our refuge, our comfort and a help in trouble. He is
there for us and hear us in times of need. “Behold the Lord’s
hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear is
heavy, that it cannot hear” (Isaiah 59:1) (KJV).

A Sword of Understanding
By: Bro. Fretz Fernandez

Word of God is like a sword. As sword, it is always useful

to break us, build us and gives comfort in every affliction. God’s
word saves all from life destructions it gives godly counsel and
wise advice. Swords can do impossible things into possible, it
can vanish sins, can destroy enemies and it brings life through
meditating it day and night. Also, it brings peace, light and
freedom. Using a sword varies in our feelings and emotions.
These are seasons that you may challenge yourself.
Season of Fear
Fear of taking the sword and crashing the enemies. Fear of
holding the sword without prayer and fasting.
Season of Doubt
Doubting to fought these enemies, because of fear to a
something that bother us.
Season of No Hope
Without a light that reflects to humanity, there’s no
freedom nor liberty in to human’s society.

Swords to take & to hold

The blood of Christ was shed to us to let us be repented of
our sins, be baptized in His name and receive the gift of the
Holy ghost (Acts2:38) (KJV). Taking this first step, takes away
our sins. The sword that was lost is found and this will
strengthen us to step into victory for we are victorious people
serving an undefeated God. Hold on to your faith as your sword
for battles against decision whether or not following Him or
not.

He leads us to be closer to Him

Seeking God is the thing that God loves us to do. Prayer is
our greatest sword to be freed us from worldliness and
carnality. He loved us when we were unlovable. The choice is
ours to think more than just twice. Are we to take a sword
though it will break us but in the end, it will strengthen us or
are we to regret in the end if we won’t follow the promise?
“We all went astray like sheep; we all have turned to our own
way; and the LORD has punished Him for the iniquity of us all.”
-Isaiah 53:6(KJV)
“Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your
hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.”
- James 4:8(KJV)

“But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy,
made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in
transgressions it is by grace you have been saved.
– Ephesians 2:4-5(KJV)

Thousands Believed (Apostles Preaching)

When the people heard this, they were prick to the heart
and asked Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what shall
we do?” Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of
you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of
your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. This
promise belongs to you and to your children and to all who are
afar off, to all whom the Lord our God shall call.”
- Acts 32: 37-39. (KJV)
