Students will test their reading comprehension skills. They will use 95% of the structures and vocabulary that
they have learned in the class session, while including their previous knowledge about the topic when teacher
quizzes them on the topic.

Summary
Teacher teaches the use of simple past, would rather, would prefer, prefer structures, and phrases for
expressing opinions (I think, I believe…). Also, teacher teaches the use of present perfect tense with a
presentation. S/he focuses on the vocabulary from the text.

Measurement & Evaluation


Kahoot results to measure the success or failure of students on reading comprehension.
Measurement & Assessment Activities for Individually, Kahoot shows their comprehension on the
Individual Performance text.

Measurement & Assessment Activities for Teacher will observe the students’ answers.

Explanation

Explanation regarding to the implementation of the plan
Teacher asks about last week and their research. Starts a quick discussion about their experiences with tourism
and travelling. Students read the related text on their own from their coursebook. They translate some of the
sentences and unknown words into their native language to improve understanding rates. Then teacher
quizzes them about the text on Kahoot. Teacher will introduce the grammar structures and useful vocabulary
on a presentation. Students will do the fill in the blanks and matching activities on their workbooks. No
homework this week.
Textbooks will be back-up plan, if internet or power is shut down. Teacher writes the structures on the board
instead of a presentation. Has a single sheet of quiz, if needed can be photocopied for all class.
