Waste Management Goals:


To recycle and/or salvage and reuse at least 75% by weight of the waste generated by this project, per City of Portland requirements.

Communication Plan:
° Waste prevention and recycling activities will be discussed at the beginning of each safety, pre-bid, pre-construction and job site meetings and
during the project close out meeting.

° As each new subcontractor comes on-site, the Recycling, Salvage & Reuse Coordinator will present him/her with a copy of the Waste
Management Plan and explain the recycling setup.
° All subcontractors will be expected to make sure all their crews comply with the Waste Management Plan.
° All recycling containers will be clearly labeled.
° Lists of acceptable/unacceptable materials will be posted throughout the site.
° Monthly progress reports will be generated, kept and submitted to the tenant at the end of this project.
