Teaching and Learning Activities: 50 minutes

Do a 2-3 minute presentation about a hot topic in schools. Examples: school should start later, subjects
should be pass/fail instead of a number mark, religion should be offered in schools, should leggings be
banned in schools, should teachers and students have communication on social media outside school
hours, etc. Anything that interests you, choose a side in the argument, and prepare to explain why you
think so. Keep in mind the things that I am looking for you to deliver on, for maximum score. Each table
group will also give a peer feedback on your strengths, weaknesses, and comments for next time. I will
address that we may be mature and educated in giving peer feedback and make sure it is appropriate,
respectful, constructive, and thoughtful.

Each presentation is 2-3 minutes plus open floor questions and peer assessment that may last 5-10
minutes.
