Vivah or Marrige is a ceremony where a Boy and a Girl bound in Partnership

to live life together , They accept each other physically and mentally . This union
is not only important for their individual pleasure , satisfaction and growth even
this is equally important for family , society, country and human community
because this reproduces further generations. Ceremonies for Marriages can be
different which may depend on community of native where he/she lives in, but

1. Jupiter – A Responsible planet for giving peace of married life. A well

in timely marriages. Melafic aspact on 7th houe or any connection of his
lord with melafics (rahu, saturn or ketu) gives delay or disturbances in
marriage.

4. UL (Upapada Lagna) – This is nothing but one of the 12 house of the

horoscope , known as Image or Arudha of 12th house , Counted by a
specific method. He deals in quality of marriage.

5. Darakarak - This is again a planet of smallest longitude of individual

horoscope who is known as temporary karak of spouse.
 6. 9th House and Lord of 9th house of the Horoscope - In my opinion ninth
house and his lord of any horoscope should be taken as main pillar of the
chart. I feel not only in marriage , all the important areas of the life are
controlled by this. You take any area start from journeys, Father, higher
studies , Dharma or to Marriage , all are controlled by 9th house. Any
melafic effect on this or on lord of this may gives delay in marriage.

7. Sun – Significator of Dharma and controller of 9th house – Sun is the

primary karaka of dharma hence understood as controller of 9th house ,
Any afflication on this by rahu (Accrding to old mythological stories on
planets A Demon who is a cause behind the eclipse of sun , Saturn who
is illegal son of Sun from his wife Chhaya who harms the image of the
sun) or Saturn becomes the reason of distruction of dharma which gives
delays in the marriage. Reader should note that here Saturn is karaka for
12th house (House of losses) so his connection with sun may becomes loss
of dharma.

Now we discuss on the combination and the planets who obstructs the
performance of these planets and disallow one to get marry timely. These
combinations are nothing but kind of curses , formed due to sins of past birth.
1. Ketu - He is a mokshakari planet , considered as a Sanyasi who is
detached from the material world, Its connection with house of marriage
or lord of that keeps the person away from the marriage.

2. Rahu – Rahu is considered worst melafic planet, he deals in theft and

cheats. His aspact or conjuction with any planet causes the obstructions in
fruits of that planet thru cheats and shocks, for example Conjuction of
Venus or 7th house lord with Rahu may gives shocks to native through
marriage.

3. Saturn - A Planet responsible for giving punishments of past sins. Being

a planet of long distance Saturn has nature to move slow, Saturn has
nature for delaying the things or results. Any connection of Saturn with 7th
house or his lord creates delays in marriages.

4. 12th House and Lord of 12th House – 12th house of horoscope is known as
‘Vyay – Bhava’ i.e. house of loss , deals in any kind of loss, delays and
 worries, Karaka of this house is Saturn and lord of this also considered
melafic, He also deals in peace of married life / pleasure of bed any
negative influence on it may cause delay for that.

is aspacted by two major melafics Saturn and Rahu, connection of sat and rahu with
12th house obstructing the fruits (Pleasure of bed , good married life) and causing the
delay in marriage, Other side 7th house is occupied by 5 planets and forming causing
Prvrajya Yoga (No Marriage at all) , But due to presence of Strong Venus and Mars
in 7th house (strong desire for marriage) and aspect of Strong Guru (peace of
married life) on them and 7th house as well I was sure , and even I assured her too
that she will surely get marry soon.
Year 2007 Guru is transiting over the 8th house of her chart and aspacting her 12th
house and giving relief from the Saturn and Rahu , I was assured that she will marry
