APPENDIX 2  •  WHAT IS NEW?

WHAT IS NEW?
-Climb competition, the first new competition for the season. The Pro Team Athletes collect climb points at marked climb passes at the
different events. During Marcialonga the Climb points will be handed out according to the fastest times in the final uphill, the Cascata.
The Climb competition will use the same points table as the Sprint competition.

- Visma Alp Trophy, the second new competition for the season. Following up the success with the Visma Nordic Trophy from last season,
the Alp Trophy is introduced. The Alp Trophy will contain event 2 to 6, Sgambeda, Kaiser Maximilian Lauf, La Diagonela, Marcialonga and
Toblach-Cortina.

-Pro Team Tempo, the first event of the season will be held as a Pro Team Tempo. The combined result of each Pro Teams men and wom-
en will decide the Pro Team Tempo winner in an exciting pursuit. Both Team and individual Champion points will be handed out.

-Most aggressive skier of the day will be awarded if applicable after each event.

-3 Pro Teams will receive prize money in the Pro Team competition instead of 1.

-5 men and 3 women will receive prize money in the Sprint competition instead of 1 men and 1 women.

-The Youth competition points are also counted in the Pro Team competition.

-Changed Team points distribution. The Pro Team with most points in an event according to the Pro Team competition rules will now
receive 200 points, second Pro Team 170 points etc according to the Pro Team points table.

-Changed Sprint points distribution in the women’s race to avoid athletes with the same score.

-The Prologue week is introduced as a concept, containing the Pro Team Tempo in Pontresina and Sgambeda in Livigno.
