Dear Madam,

At the outset, let me introduce to you our School. AKSHAR is an English medium co-educational
High School, affiliated to the ISC Board, New Delhi. Besides being a High School, we are also an
“Integrated” School. We pride ourselves in being the pioneers in this field in our city and have
been able to create a school where children with “ Disabilities ” study alongside “Regular”
children. It gives us the utmost joy to see our VISION – an Integrated School that was hitherto
non-existent in our city, turn into a successful reality. Our school is a non-profit organization, run
by a trust.

Approx. 500 children study in our School from Lower KG to Class XII, of which 100 children are
with varying special needs.

We are holding our Prize day for the Senior School on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 5:00 p.m.
Duration of the programme will be approximately two hours. The function will be held at ICCR,
9A, Ho Chi Minh Sarani, Kolkata – 700 071. We at Akshar would be honoured to have you as our
Guest of Honour and would request you to kindly give away some of the prizes.
