4 POSSIBLE CHALLENGES
These are examples of possible challenges that could be tackled in the Global
Goals Jam 2017. To ensure that the teams will design solutions relevant to your
community, consider adapting the challenges to your local context (eg. Goal 1 -
Challenge 1: “marginalized and vulnerable groups of local communities” - could
be elderly in one community, young mothers in another). You and the
members of your community are the expert on the local challenges around
you!
You are very welcome to formulate your own challenges, but make sure they
relate clearly to 1 of the goals and enable the teams to design as concrete
solutions as possible. The formulation “How can we design a solution...” is a
helpful way to frame your challenge in an effective way.
Additionally, we are aiming to work on real life challenges. To make this as effective
as possible, it is advisable to involve local businesses and organisations from your
network to provide you with input on challenges from their professional context –
this also ensures a relevant output in the end!
