Ok then we will do a Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition game.

Its simple, fun, and works ?

Plenty of info on the game around if you are really eager and want to check stuff
out. Pod casts, you tube bits and pieces.

It will take me some time to work up some stories, campaign arcs etc. (And about 2
minutes for the players derail them and blow the campaign apart).

In the meantime have a think about what kind of character you want to play.(see
below)
If anyone wants to pre do some character work, need ideas or clarifications, spell
lists, etc. Just let me know and I can help.

First session will probably be a bit of character creation, back story and
character introduction. And hopefully get into the first part of the adventure.

Ive attached the free basic players guide. Which when I look at it doesnt even
include all the basic race and classes. Well it gives a very bland idea of what you
can play.

So Basic races
Dragonborn - Big noble tailless lizard. Occasionally breaths [element]
Dwarf youve seen Lord of the rings.
Elf youve seen Lord of the rings.
Gnome Maybe more of a fairy like hobbit, big nose. Hoggle from Labyrinth might
be one
Half-Elf We assume the other half is human. Versatile. Less Legolas, more Leg o
lamb.
Half-Orc - Once again we assume that some human put out. Most societies are a
bit wary of them. Big, strong, Not necessarily dumb.
Halfling - youve seen Lord of the rings. Yeah they kind of are hobbits. Not all
are thievy types some are mighty fighters or mages. Short but mighty.
Human They put out, see above. Very generic.
Tiefling an ex-human whos ancestors made pact with devils and now they all
have colourful skin, horns, a tail, and funk eyes. Great for scaring young
children.

The basic classes.

Barbarian Conan. Thundra. Etc. Lightly armoured fighters who go into rages. Can
be a bit one with nature at times.
Bard Jack of all trades. Little bit of fighting, spell casting, sneaking,
Inspires the troops and enthrals the masses.
Cleric Religious warrior. Usually the spell casting healers but their deity may
be into things from battle to necromancy.
Druid Radagast. Woodlands protector. Spell caster with a big stick. Oh can they
might change shape from time to time. Youll be laughing out the other side of your
face after the Halfling in a fur bikini turns into a T Rex and bits your arm off.
Fighter - They know all about weapons and just where to put them to do some real
damage.
Monk they know all that Bruce lee kung fu shit. With a little dragon ball zee,
last air bender thrown in.
Paladin Like Clerics but in more armour and hit harder and a bit more zealous.
Ranger woodland(or any natural environment) warriors. More fighter orientated
that druids. A few spells. Sometimes come with a big F*%$ off bear as a companion
or something.
Rogue Lets be honest. They are the thief. Steal a purse, pick a lock, disarm
the trap. Oh and sneak attach bitches. Scout to diplomat to charlatan.
Sorcerer - See wizard BUT These guys get their power from primordial forces,
dragon ancestors, etc. Less training more instinctual.
Warlock See wizard BUT So they may have made a deal with a devil (fiend,
Fey , Old one, etc) to get their power. Can hold their own in melee combat if
required.
Wizard Years of studying have shown them how to use arcane powers to cast
spells. A vast wealth of knowledge but they have to work to use it.

All classes have specialities and variants within them allowing to customise you
your playstyle. Plus you can dip into multi classing.

Now. I try to keep things light and fun with occasional darker themes, will make
jokes etc but I dont want to intentionally offend people etc. But I am not that
politically correct at times.
Please let me know if I offend or you think I crossed a line.

OK then
Dungeon on.
