Question10-: In Fig. 6.10, ray OS stands on a line POQ. Ray OR and ray OT are angle bisectors of ∠ POS and ∠
SOQ, respectively. If ∠ POS = x, find ∠ ROT.
Question11-

In Fig. 6.17, POQ is a line. Ray OR is perpendicular to line PQ. OS is another ray lying between
rays OP and OR. Prove that ∠ ROS = 1 2 (∠ QOS – ∠ POS).

Question12-If a transversal intersects two lines such that the bisectors of a pair of
corresponding angles are parallel, then prove that the two lines are parallel.
Question13-the sides AB and AC of ∆ABC are produced to points E and D respectively. If
bisectors BO and CO of ∠ CBE and ∠ BCD respectively meet at point O, then prove that ∠ BOC =
90° – 1 2 ∠BAC.

Question15-BE and CF are two equal altitudes of a triangle ABC.Using RHS congruence
rule, prove that the triangle ABC is isosceles.

Question16-Prove that a diagonal of a parallelogram divides it into two congruent triangles.

Question 17-Show that the bisectors of angles of a parallelogram form a rectangle.

Question18-Show that if the diagonals of a quadrilateral are equal and bisect each other at right
angles,then it is a square.

Question19-State and prove Mid Point Theorem.

Question 20-Prove that parallelograms on the same base and between the same parallels are
equal in area.

Question21-Diagonals AC and BD of a trapezium ABCD with AB parallel to DC intersect each

other at O.Prove that ar(AOD)=ar(BOC)

Question23-Prove that the quadrilateral formed (if possible)by the internal angle bisectos of any
quadrilateral is cyclic.

Question 24-Construct a triangle XYZ in which measure of angles Y & Z are 30 and 90
respectively and XY+YZ+ZX=11cm.

Question 25-An isosceles triangle has perimeter 30 cm and each of equal side is 12 cm .Find the
area of triangle.

Question26-The height of a cone is 16 cm and its base radius is 12 cm.Find the curved surface
area and the total surface area of cone (Use π=3.14).

Question 27-A patient in a hospital is given soup daily in a cylindrical bowl of diameter 7 cm.If
the bowl is filled with soup to a height of 4 cm,how much soup the hospital has to prepare daily
to serve 250 patients?

Question 28-A shot putt is a metallic sphere made of radius 4.9 cm. If the density of the metal is
7.8 g per cubic cm, find the mass of shot putt.
