CUBAN CUBE STEAKS

4 cube steaks

3 limes, reserve one half and cut into wedges for garnish and serving

4 tablespoons of olive oil, divided Dinner?
1 large white onion, cut into wedges
Yellow rice to serve

1.  Squeeze 2 1/2 limes into a large zip top bag or a flat pie plate and add minced garlic and one Tablespoon of olive oil. 
Salt and pepper steaks and place in bag or plate to marinate.  Marinate up to four hours in fridge.  

 2.  When ready, start yellow rice following directions according to package.  Remove steaks from fridge. Preheat oven to
low setting.  Heat large skillet to medium to high heat and add a Tablespoon of olive oil.  Remove two of the steaks from the

marinade and dab dry.  Place the two steaks in pan - so as not to crowd - and saute one to two minutes per side.   You will
see the juice come to the surface of the steak and that will show you it is time to turn or flip the steaks.  Remove to an oven-
proof plate and lightly cover with foil and place in warm oven.  Repeat entire process with remaining two steaks.
