In Mrs. Conti’s class, students participated in a student-led stimulation regarding the
Articles of Confederation. The students were assigned to be one of the 13 states (some paired up), and then they had to discuss problem scenarios and vote on them. It was designed to show them that one of the flaws of the Articles was that it was very difficult to get 9 out of 13 states to agree on anything (majority needed to pass a law).
