 Purpose Of IntelligencePlus InnoVenture
World educators and experts believe that there is a global achievement gap such as 21st century skills which
includes Creativity & Innovation, Thinking Skills, Problem Solving, Communication Skills, Social and Emotional
learning alongwith essential practical life skills should be nurtured in children from a very young age. Further,
via entrepreneurship education- children can meaningfully apply their knowledge and skills to real life situations
and can create something of value to the society and lead the way. We at IntelligencePlus believe in providing
a platform for children to discover and exhibit their ideas through the challenge.

IntelligencePlus is proud to present InnoVenture 2016 - a 1st of its kind ideation - innovation -
entrepreneurship event for children (9-14yrs) at the national level

Innoventure 2015 had around 20,000 children from Pune participating and benefiting from the challenge. We
consider it time to reach out to children across India and innovatively skill the young minds for the future .

While India gears up for promoting skill development and entrepreneurship; we at

IntelligencePlus started our journey in this direction in 2014 itself realizing that
fundamental 21st century skills need to be developed right from any early age to lay a
strong foundation and equip children for the real life.The abilities of ideation, innovation
and execution are the most crucial skills children need to acquire irrespective of academic
knowledge. With this mission, we started InnoVenture so as to give an impetus to the
initiative to skill the young minds of the nation. Backed by a lot of research and after
innumerable interactions with entrepreneurs, eminent educators and leaders across, we
created the Innoventure challenge format to not just provide a platform but create
maximum impact and learning for children. We invite and urge all educational heads to extend this
opportunity to their students so as to collaboratively progress on the path of real education.

schools prepare children on academic coursework, it is equally important that children

IntelligencePlus and its in-school and after-school programs for children. The initiative

Why should schools participate in the Challenge?

1. 1st ever platform for children to develop and demonstrate their ideation and entrepreneurial skills
2. 1st of its kind challenge based on creativity, innovation and real life situations.
3. Opportunity for children to be trained by CEO’s, entrepreneurs and mentors.
4. Introduction to many tools and techniques essential for real life success.
5. Awards, cash prize and a widespread recognition for the schools and their students.
6. The Innoventure challenge is aligned to the country’s mission to Skill Young India for real life
success.
Format for the year 2016
IntelligencePlus InnoVenture is open to students from grade 4 to grade 9.
Round 1: To be Conducted in July/ August/ September 2016 in the respective schools.
Participation fee : Rs 250 per child only. ( Including material for preparation)
Time Duration: 40 minutes
Format: Subjective Challenge Statements based on creativity, ideation, problem solving
and critical thinking.
Award:
To qualify for the school/organization wise awards, there should be minimum 20 students
participating from either grade in the school. In such a case, the highest scorer from each grade would
be given a certificate for exceptional performance in the 1st round.

Round 2: To be Conducted in October, 2016

Students from each grade will get selected based on their percentile for the 2nd round
which would be a Skype/telephonic interview conducted by IntelligencePlus.
Participation fee :Free of cost.
Time Duration: Max 10 minutes.
Format : Questions to understand and assess the child’s communication skills,
thinking skills and interpersonal skills.

Award:
Students selected for round 2 will get a certificate of merit and those qualifying for the final round would
get a medal as well.

Final Round: To be conducted in January 2017 in Pune, Maharashtra.

40 students per grade from across the country would be selected for the final round.
Participation fee :Rs 500 only per child.
Time Duration: One & a half day.
Format : Training :The children will undergo interactive sessions with experts, mentors
and entrepreneurs. These interactions promise to be the 1st of its kind experience for
children in 21st century learning.
Final Challenge : The children will be given real life challenge situations for which they
need to come up with ideas, design solutions and present them via models and
presentations to the eminent jury.

Student Awards : Worth Rs 3,60,000.

Winners would be selected from each grade for 1st,2nd and 3rd prize.
All the winners would be given certificate, trophy & goodies along with the cash award.

School Awards: Worth Rs 1,85,000.
