Indeed, "Israel" was never the name of a country in the first place. Israel was a tribe. As mentioned, Israel was
never a country. It was a large tribe in Egypt working as slaves of the Pharoahs. Their language was called
'Hebrew' and their ethnicity was known as the "Hebrew" race. The tribe of Israel was divided into several
clans. One of these clans was called Judah. When the tribe of Israel (referred in the Noble Quran as "Children
of Israel" or Bani Israeel) left Egypt with Prophet Moses and went to the land of the Philistines (now called
Palestine), these different Israeli clans gradually disintegrated and set up their own kingdoms scattered across
this land. There was a lot of infighting between these clans.

Judah was the biggest clan of the Israeli tribe. Judah had established the largest kingdom in a portion of
Philistine which it called "Judea." The term "Jew" is derived from "Judah."
The tribe of Israel (inclusive of its various small clans) had also set up its kingdom in another portion or
province of Philistine which it called "Israel." Thus, Israel and Judah were the two rival kingdoms in the Holy
Land, each of them originating from the names of their tribe and clan, respectively.

Hence, in the ancient times, all Jews were called Israelis but all Israelis were not called Jews because Israel
was a tribe (not a country) with several clans .. and Judah (of Jews) was only one of them.

In addition, the Israel have 12 tribes The names of these 12 tribes of Israel i.e. Reuben, Simeon, Judah,
Issachar, Zebulun, Benjamin, Dan, Naphtali, Gad, Asher, Ephraim and Manasseh. These are the names of the
sons and grandsons of Jacob, from which biblical tradition holds the 12 tribes descend, even though the afridi
nation belong to Ephraim tribe of Israel and These names of the tribes speak for themselves.

TO CONCLUDE, IN A NUTSHELL:
1. Israel was the tribe.
2. Judah was the clan and its people were called Jews.
3. Hebrew was the race and language of the entire tribe of Israel.
4. Bani Israel means the children of Jacob. You can be bani-Israel at the same time not Yahud while Yahud
means the followers of Judaism period.
5. Yahood, as it is used in the Qur'an refers specifically to the Jews during the time of the Prophet, whereas
Bani Israel refers to all descendants of Israel.

6. All Yahood are Bani-Israel, but not all Bani Israel are Yahood.

7. Jew called Yahood follower of Jadaism.

8. Bani Israel called Children of Israel.

10. with deep study of genetic and cultural as well as historically and Islamic study proof that Afridi nation is
BANI ISRAEL, nevertheless, not Jew.
