DC ANALYSIS:
Calculation of node voltage and branch current for the resistive networks, simulation of DC
analysis like operating point, small signal transfer function and DC sweep analysis, modeling of
sources in DC analysis – voltage controlled voltage sources ,current controlled voltage
sources, current controlled current sources and voltage controlled current source, example
based on resistive networks and simple transistor circuits.
TRANSIENT ANALYSIS:
Modeling of time variant sources, inductor and capacitors, transient output variable, setting up

The student has to work on project of current relevance involving advance technologies in the
area of Electrical & Electronics Engineering which is sponsored by college, industries and R&D
institutions.
They have to develop theory or to design and develop equipment, which can be used in actual
processes in the area of instrumentation and control.
After completion of the project work and before proceeding for the final examination, they are
required to pass through the dissertation.
