General & Erie Campus specific Information for Web Based Subject Exams at LECOM Testing Sites:

Students taking the Web Based Subject Exams at a LECOM Campus or a Core Affiliate testing site must arrive fifteen
minutes prior to the exam start time to begin setting up their personal computers for the exam.

No Coats/Bags allowed in the Lecture Hall/Testing Room. There will be signs indicating rooms to store your personal
belongings outside the testing room. Leave your cell phone in your purse/bag/coat/car. If you bring it in to the testing
room, it must be turned off and brought to the table at the front of the hall until your exam is completed.

You will need to know your LECOM ID# when taking exams – you will use this number as your ID number, required to
access the exam. Write it on the back of your ID badge, if necessary, if it is not already there.

REMINDER: Materials you will need for to bring on the day of the exam are:
1. Your Laptop Computer - DO NOT FORGET YOUR POWERCORD. For those of you who have computers which are
unable to connect to an Ethernet cord, we strongly suggest that you purchase a USB to Ethernet adapter. This
will allow you a better and more reliable connection. Please also be sure to review the attached PowerPoint
presentation and prep your computer for the exam accordingly. If you are having issues with your laptop,
please contact the IT Department.
2. A photo ID
3. Pencils/pens (There will be scratch paper provided to you for calculations)
4. Your ID number

FYI’s:
- OBEY the established speed limit as you enter ANY testing site.
- For the LECOM Erie Campus, use the parking lot behind the school.
- For students testing outside their respective LECOM Campus: STOP at Campus Security as you enter & show
your ID – they will have a list of students expected. Your badge will not scan at other Campuses.
- At Erie Campus, take the stairs to the main floor, then pass the Reception desk (just follow the crowd) to the
second set of stairs. Turn left at the top of the stairs and follow the hallway to Lecture Hall C. The coat room will
be across from the Lecture Hall on the Left side of the hallway and will be marked by a sign.
- For students testing outside the Erie Campus, directions will be forthcoming from your respective testing site.

The subject exams have approximately 100 questions and you will have 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete them.
If you are taking Family Medicine, there will be only approximately 80 questions and 2 hours to complete the exam.

You will NOT be assigned to a specific seat. However for those of you testing at the Erie Campus, you must come to the
front of the Lecture Hall to receive your sign in form. This will also be used for scratch paper during the exam.
Bring writing utensils for taking notes; you may use your sign in form as scrap paper, as we will have to collect it at the
end of your exam.

Please review all information carefully! Email me if you have any questions 
