like you! Jill is pregnant! God has answered our prayers, and we are
expecting a baby boy in mid-May, 2018. We are grateful for this
baby, considering how long it took to get pregnant with
Caroline. She will be 2.5 years old when Baby Weaver arrives.
Thank you for your prayers and encouragement as we navigate
this tremendous responsibility called parenthood! God is good!

Paul’s Trip To Uganda and Hungary

Thank you for your prayers as I ministered at Word of Life Africa Bible Institute in the country of Uganda. I had the
privilege of teaching the book of Hebrews (10 hours) to 29 students from Uganda, Rwanda, Ethiopia and Kenya. What
a blessing it was for me to have a small part in equipping them for faithful service to our Lord on the continent of
Africa!

During my time in Uganda I met with individual staff members and collectively with the Academic Department, as
well as the BI Staff. The details of which I will not bore you, but all that to say, it was my great pleasure to serve
with and for this great team! I also greatly enjoyed meeting with students over mealtime, and answering their many
questions about the book of Hebrews, as well as specific theological and practical issues that they face in their cultural
context.

After my teaching time in Africa, I hopped on a plane and headed over to Word of Life Hungary, where I taught 10
hours on the books of 1 & 2 Thessalonians, followed by 10 hours on the book of 1 Corinthians. It was a packed week
of teaching and catching up with old friends and colleagues in the ministry. The WOL Hungary Bible Institute has 79
students this year from 17 different countries! It was an honor to teach such an exciting and promising group of young
people who are eager to serve the Lord.
