13/3/2015 Student learn to use strain gage and other equipment for
preparation before testing at factory ( held at UITMPP)
20/3/2015 Factory will casting the precast concrete pile and student
will observe on the casting process. The strain gage will be
put on the pile before concreting process.
21/3/2015 To see the de molding of the precast concrete pile and will
be connecting data logger to be take the reading while in de
molding stages.
The concrete cube test result will be taken at day 1, 2, 3, 5,
7, 14, 21, 28, 35, 42, 49, 56, 63.
27/3/2015 Student will take the reading result on day 7 of the stress
development stages.

TYPE OF PRECAST CONCRETE PILE

1. Pile size 200mm X 200mm X 9 m with reinforcement bar type 4T10 and with concrete grade 50.
This type need to be cast by the factory 3 sample.
2. Pile size 200mm X 200mm X 9 m with reinforcement bar type 4T10 and with concrete grade 60.
This type need to be cast by the factory 3 sample.
3. Pile size 200mm X 200mm X 9 m with reinforcement bar type 4T10 plus NTcrack bar and with
concrete grade 50. The NT crack bar type is T9 X 2.95m.This type need to be cast by the factory
3 sample.

CALIBRATION STAGES

 The factory will be prepared for student 3 type of the precast concrete pile with each type
consist 3 sample for student to be tested out in lab UITMPP. The precast concrete pile size is
(200mm X 200mm X 3m). (TBD)
